The Village is seeking a full-time, permanent Recreation Programmer.
The Recreation Programmer is responsible for the development, promotion, and delivery of recreational, cultural and educational programs, including the selection and supervision of program facilitators. This position contributes positively to the Pemberton community by providing residents of all ages and abilities with opportunities to be active, creative and involved.
The ideal candidate has proven experience in program development and delivery and a strong understanding of the recreational and social needs of the Pemberton community. Grade 12 supplemented by a degree / diploma in recreation or a related field, plus two years in recreation work, or an equivalent combination of training and experience is required.
