The Non-Medical (Recreational) Retail Cannabis Policy identifies the requirements for the retail sales of recreational cannabis in the Village of Pemberton.
In particular, the policy includes the jurisdiction, objectives, definitions, and policy related to licencing referrals and notification, assessment fees, land use & zoning, operational requirements, business licence applications and signage.
Before finalizing the proposed policy, the Village is seeking feedback from the community with respect to: notification, land use & zoning, distance requirements, the restriction (cap) to the number of businesses permitted, and operating hours.
