Village of Pemberton Council are currently considering the creation of a Reduction Strategy and Policy for single-use items including; plastic bags, straws, styrofoam containers and single-use coffee cups (from restaurants/coffee shops etc.).
Before developing the strategy and policy, Council directed Staff to gather feedback from the community and business community to determine if there was support for the regulation of these items within the Village of Pemberton.
