The Friendship Trail Bridge construction will take place in two phases:
Phase One: Pile driving, August 21st to September 16th
Phase Two: Bridge Installation, September 24th to October 15th
The Village must conduct this work during the fisheries window, as established by the Province. As this window is quite limited, construction will be taking place seven (7) days a week, between from August 21st to October 20th.
During this time, construction will take place 7am-7pm, Mondays to Saturdays. Additionally, the Village has issued a Construction Noise exemption for construction to take place on Sundays/Stat Holidays, 9am to 6pm.
Once completed, the Friendship Trail and Bridge will provide a safe, linear trail between Lil'wat Nation and the Village of Pemberton.
