Celebrate Community on Canada Day - Friday, July 1 in Pemberton!

The Pemberton and District Community Centre is hosting a series of free activities for people of all ages.  Bring your family and friends to participate in the festivities!

Start your day with the Spud Run at 8am or a Yoga class at 9:30am and stick around for the fun activities planned from 11am - 1pm.

All events are FREE and family friendly. 

8:00am - Spud Run - 8km

9am - 12pm -  Free Fitness Centre Access

9:30am - Yoga Class with Julia Harvey

11am - Opening Ceremony

11am - 1pm 

- Craft table hosted by the Pemberton and Multicultural Network
- Lil'wat Nation - Drum Making and Medicine Bag Craft
- Games (Bocce, Croquet, Corn Hole, Ladder Toss, Carpet Bowling, Pickleball)
- Face Painting
- Snow Cones and Cupcakes

- LIVE Music by Austin Ross (11:30am - 1pm)

Spud Run

The annual Spud Run is back! This 8km trail run will showcase the beauty of the Pemberton Valley. All participants will receive a voucher for a FREE bag of Helmers potatoes to be picked up from the Farmers Market at your convenience.

Participants meet at 7:45am on the front steps of the Pemberton and District Community Centre.

This event is free, registration is required.

Flow Yoga

Flow Yoga with Julia will start at 9:30am indoors at the Pemberton and District Community Centre.

This event is free, registration is required. Maximum 12 participants, all levels welcome!

One Mile Lake Events

Pemberton Canoe Association activities at One Mile Lake!

Scavenger Hunt from 9 - 10:30am 
Bring your whole family for this fun filled activity. Each group will be provided with a boat(s) and a copy of the scavenger hunt. Paddle your way to victory with a chance to win a prize!

Community Regatta from 10:30 - 11am 
Bring your own boat/paddleboard or borrow one from the Pemberton Canoe Association to partake in their community regatta. Participants may be split into separate races depending on the amount of participants and their ability. If attendance is high, you may have a chance to experience the club's dragon boat or outrigger.  All levels welcome!

Lil'wat Nation Craft

Join the Lil'wat Nation in The REC to learn how to craft a traditional mini drum or a drawstring medicine bag.
