July has been warm and dry along the Coast, and wildfire risk is increasing. The fire danger rating is currently high, with the potential to reach extreme in the coming days.
From now through Thursday, we’re expecting unusually high temperatures and low humidity, which further elevate the risk. Please be cautious and responsible while enjoying the outdoors.
A campfire prohibition is in place across the entire Pemberton Fire Zone (Sea to Sky).
