Pursuant to Section 124 (3) of the Community Charter the Village of Pemberton gives notice that Council will consider giving First, Second and Third Reading to a Council Procedure Amendment Bylaw at the Regular Council Meeting on May 28th, 2019, held at 9am.
What is the amendment?
The purpose of the amendment is to provide clarification respecting Section 31 (Reconsideration by a Council Member) of Council Procedure Bylaw No. 788, 2015. Specifically, that reconsideration of a motion may only be brought forward by a Council member who voted with the majority.
