The Village of Pemberton is inviting residents and community members to take part in shaping the future of the Hillside neighbourhood.
The Hillside Neighbourhood Plan is a comprehensive planning document that will guide future growth in the area. It builds on past planning approvals and reflects current housing needs and policy directions. The Plan supports both infill development within the existing neighbourhood and future expansion up the hillside, with the Rec Site serving as the heart of the community.
Located between Pemberton’s Town Centre and Mount Currie, Hillside is uniquely positioned to serve as a central residential area for the Valley. The Plan outlines how the neighbourhood can grow in a way that supports housing diversity, recreation, commercial services, and active transportation, while respecting the natural landscape and cultural values of the area.
