Please Plan Ahead for Potential Postal Delays
Village of Pemberton Property Tax and Utilities Notices for 2025 have now been mailed to all property owners. We would like to remind residents that Canada Post may experience service disruptions in the coming weeks due to a potential labour strike.
We understand that this may raise concerns around delivery delays. However, please note that the property tax due date remains Wednesday, July 2, and does not change in the event of a postal disruption. A 10% penalty will be applied to any payments received after this date. Please note, a postmark is not valid as a date of payment.
To help ensure your payment arrives on time, we encourage you to consider one of the following options:
- Online banking through your financial institution
- In-person payments at Municipal Hall located at 7400 Prospect Street. Our offices are open from 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday (closed between 12pm and 1pm).
- 24-Hour Mail Slot located at Municipal Hall (7400 Prospect Street)
- Online with OptionPay
Additional payment methods and information can be found at www.pemberton.ca/property-taxes. Please note that the July 2 due date remains in effect, and payment must be received by this date, including payments sent by mail.
If you have not yet received your notice, or if you require another copy, we can assist in the following ways:
- Email us to request a copy of your notice
- Visit us in-person at Municipal Hall to request a reprinted notice
Set up an online account to access your notice digitally. Email us to request your personalized access code (printed on your notice)
We appreciate your attention to this matter and encourage all residents to make arrangements early to avoid any potential delays. If you have questions about your notice or payment options, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Our staff are happy to help.
