Pemberton and District Recreation Services

The Village of Pemberton in partnership with the Squamish-Lilooet Regional District funds and provides recreation through a number of facilities, parks and fields.

The Pemberton Valley Utilities and Services (PVUS) Committee advises on recreation programming, services and budgeting. PVUS is a committee of the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District Board, convened by the Board to discuss shared services, such as recreation, between SLRD Electroral Area C and the Village of Pemberton. Pemberton and District Community Fund

The Pemberton Valley Utilities and Services Committee (PVUS) annually distributes funds to support community recreation, social and cultural activities throughout Pemberton and SLRD Electoral Area C.  All organizations who receive this funding are not for profit organizations, community groups, entities or societies based within the regional area of Pemberton that are considered by PVUS to be contributing to the general interest and benefit of its residents.  For more information on the fund and how to apply visit

Pemberton and District Community Centre

Welcome to Pemberton and District’s showcase recreational, learning and meeting facility. The Community Centre is a key component of this vibrant community. It’s spacious and bright fitness centre, library and multi-purpose rooms are home to a multitude of fitness, arts, wellness and dance programs for all ages. Whether gathering in the lobby for a visit with friends, relaxing on the outdoor lawns, or getting together at a function or your little one’s birthday party, there’s always something wonderful to do.

Spray Park

Warmer weather means it’s time for water fun for all ages at the Pemberton and District Community Centre Spray Park. The spray park is open May - September and during open hours you can activate the water system by push buttons. Regular operating hours are 10am to 8pm.

Children's Nature Play Park

The Nature Play Park has been designed to expand the outdoor play opportunities available at the Community Centre. The Park carefully integrates elements to support creative play, encourage confident exploration and help children develop a lasting affinity for the natural world. The park currently includes a natural grass maze, patio area, water feature with a decorative stream, adventure park style balancing elements, sandbox and natural rock seating. Expansion plans are based on grant funding. For more information on the park plan visit
