Weather Update, September 23rd

Posted on September 23, 2020
The weather system appears to be moving south, which will reduce the expected rainfall amounts. Rain is expected to continue until tomorrow, with a break on Friday. Another system is expected to move in over the weekend. While the rainfall amounts are less than predicted, we may still see some localized flooding.

To assist, the Village has set up a sandbag station at Municipal Hall located at 7400 Prospect Street (across from the RCMP). Please bring your own shovel. Physical distancing must also be observed when filling sandbags.

This will be the last update for this weather event. If the forecast changes or any alerts are activated, the Village will advise via Facebook and www.pemberton.ca.
