Public Notice | Alternative Approval Process Underway for Borrowing Funds to Construct a Solid Waste Transfer Station

An Alternative Approval Process is currently underway to seek elector approval of Squamish-Lillooet Regional District's Pemberton and District Transfer Station Loan Authorization Bylaw No. 1567-2018, which is a bylaw to authorize the SLRD to borrow funds of up to $1,375,000 over a 30 year term, for the purpose of constructing a solid waste transfer station on SLRD-owned property at 1950 Venture Place in Pemberton, BC.  The Alternative Approval Process is open to eligible electors of the Service Area (Village of Pemberton and SLRD Area C).

The deadline for elector responses in relation to this Alternative Approval Process is 4:30 p.m. on May 14, 2018.
