Community Notice: Sanitary Line Flushing

Posted on April 12, 2024
Village of Pemberton contractors will be conducting sanitary line flushing on Monday, April 15 and Tuesday, April 16. This essential maintenance work is part of our ongoing efforts to keep our sewer system running smoothly.

What to Expect?
During this process, you may experience a temporary increase in water pressure, which could lead to water rising in toilets, accompanied by bubbling and minor backflow. To minimize any inconvenience, we recommend keeping toilet lids closed while the work is being carried out.

Why is this Important?
Sanitary line flushing is a crucial maintenance process for preventing blockages and sewer backups in our community. To help reduce blockages, residents are kindly reminded to avoid flushing materials such as wipes, feminine products, paper towels, grease or oil, down your toilets or drains.
