Due to the Village’s limited tax base, the Village is heavily reliant on funding from Provincial and Federal granting programs, through partnerships with the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District, Pemberton Valley Dyking District and Lil’wat Nation, community organizations and contributions from non-profits, to undertake many of the organization’s initiatives, including planning and capital projects.
