HUKA Entertainment, the Pemberton Music Festival promotors, have committed to allocating a portion of each ticket sold to the Pemberton Music Festival Community Fund (PMFCF) to support community opportunities and initiatives within the Pemberton Valley.

Grant recipients are selected annually by the PMFCF Committee (see Terms of Reference for membership information). The Village of Pemberton provides administrative support to the Pemberton Music Festival Community Fund Committee.

The PMFCF supports Community Organizations (Village of Pemberton, Lil'wat Nation and Squamish Lillooet Regional District (SLRD) Area C (including Birken, D'Arcy and N'quatqua) based non-profit groups, societies, committees, associations and organizations which promote positive and non-discriminatory community-minded interests) through two funds:

a) Legacy Fund - projects or programs that create a legacy (something that is lasting and is of significance) for the general community with a focus on agriculture and/or arts and culture; health; recreation; or other priorities determined by the PMFCF Committee.
b) General Community and Agricultural Fund - for projects or programs that focus on agriculture and/or arts and culture; health; social services; children and youth; education; seniors; recreation; or other priorities determined by the PMFCF Committee.
Support from the PMFCF is given in the form of cash grants only.The PMFCF does not provide funding to:
a) For-profit (commercial) activities
b) Retroactive funding, for any project expenses to be incurred prior to approval of funding
c) Debt retirement or reserves, mortgage pay-downs
d) Prize money
e) Operations or core expenses
f)  Amateur sports teams
g) League or club based sports programs
h) Activities of direct religious purposes
i)  Office equipment or furniture
j)  General fundraising
k) Sabbatical leaves or student exchanges
l) Salaries, wages, honorariums or other professional fees
To apply, please include the following information in your application, along with any additional information you deem necessary, to the care of the Village of Pemberton:
cover letter (including an outline of the project/program and timelines and details as to how the project will be of benefit to the community and/or agriculture)
completed application form (pages 2 - 4)
copy of proof of Society or Charitable status (if applicable) or proof of bank account in the name of the community organization
copy of the current Annual Financial Statement and/or up to date financial information
detailed project budget that identifies how the grant will be spent
proof of in-kind and/or financial donations from other sources
Application should not be more than 10 pages and must not be handwritten. Please do not bind your application. Simply return form via fax, e-mail or mail by September 30th.

Successful Recipients are required to submit a final report to the PMFCF Committee within 30 days after completion of the project.
