WATER RESTRICTIONS- Level 2 in Effect
Level 2 Water Restrictions Now in Effect.
Given the hot conditions and minimal precipitation this month, the Village of Pemberton Council is asking the public to conserve water, as a fire protection and cost-saving measure (our water supply is treated and high usage represents a cost to taxpayers. You can learn more about Pemberton's water resource and treatment process and facility here). To that effect, Council has passed a resolution for increased sprinkling restrictions, effective immediately.
Even numbered civic addresses may water on Thursdays and Sundays between the hours of 4:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. or between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.;
Odd numbered civic addresses, or with no civic address, on Wednesdays and Saturdays between the hours of 4:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. or between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
Sprinkling restrictions do not apply to golf courses, sport fields, parks, and public gardens (community garden), private vegetable gardens, a commercial nursery and turf and sod within public road rights of way at this time.
