JOB OPPORTUNITY - Office Assistant
The Village of Pemberton is accepting applications for a well-organized, detail-oriented Office Assistant. This full time permanent position will be responsible for providing reception and clerical services for the larger organization and various other duties as assigned. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, answering telephones, responding to general inquiries and processing customer service requests; receipting payments; drafting letters, memos and policies; undertaking basic project research; taking minutes; completing procedural forms as well as compiling statistical information.
Applicants must have completed Grade 12, have excellent writing and oral communication skills and a minimum of three years' experience at a secretarial/administrative support level preferably supplemented by post-secondary courses in office procedures. Local government experience an asset.
